GEORGE EDWARDS WILL KEEP FIGHTING FOR US

George earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, graduating magna cum laude from the
University of Southern Mississippi. During his 39-year career at Exxon Mobil, George found a
myriad of ways to volunteer and serve those around him. The roles which he undertook include:

• Chair of the Board of Directors of Energy Capital Credit
• Chair of the Leadership Houston Class XXI
• Chair of the Investment Committee of the Texas Bar Foundation
• Chair of the Law-Focused Education Committee
• Member, Cy-Fair ISD’s Community Leadership Committee
• Trustee on the Board of Trustees of the Neuhaus Education Center, an organization that
  supports reading programs for students
• Union Board Member on the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors
• Board Member on the Commission for Lawyer Discipline

In addition to these admirable roles, George takes great pride in serving as a deacon at Second
Baptist Church in Katy. George and his wife, DeBra, are the parents of three sons, a school
administrator, an attorney, and a treasury analyst. The love of their lives is their 13-year-old
granddaughter.
